In industrial 3D printing, scale and standardization often go hand in hand. But since its founding in 2011, FELIX 3D printers has built its reputation on a different principle: adaptability. The Dutch manufacturer’s modular approach has allowed it to create tailor-made 3D printing solutions, as well as standard products, for serving industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, bioprinting, and food production. Thanks to its modular printer architecture, FELIX 3D printers can develop customized, application-specific printers in a short time. Now, at Formnext 2025, FELIX 3D printers is bringing that same principle to the factory floor with the final prototypes for two new industrial systems: the Pro XL 3.1 and the Pro XXL.
Both printers build on FELIX 3D printers’ proven modular platform, combining speed, reliability, and a robust, low-maintenance design for industrial use. They are joined by a new industrial drying cabinet for optimized filament storage, completing a cohesive ecosystem designed for high-mix, low-volume production. Here, we’ll be exploring the features of these two new printers, along with the drying cabinet.

The Pro XL 3.1 has an upgraded CoreXY motion system.
The Pro XL 3.1: Built for Precision, Designed for Adaptability
The Pro XL 3.1 combines large-format capability with high-speed precision, offering a build volume of 600 × 400 × 600 mm and print speeds up to 500 mm/s. Its upgraded CoreXY motion system delivers fast acceleration and quiet operation, while the heated bed and chamber allow temperatures up to 120 °C and 70 °C, respectively.
