Chinese manufacturer TPM3D has been making quite a name for itself. Starting as a selective laser sintering (SLS) 3D printing service provider back in 1991, it grew quickly, and in 2018 the company began selling SLS solutions independently. Already well known in China, TPM3D has started to move into the international scene in recent years and its 3D printers have been used in a variety of applications including art, car manufacturing and medical, among others. We caught up with the company at Formnext 2024.
In this video, we met with Lucy Zhai, the CEO of TPM3D. She told us about the company’s history, as well as its presence at Formnext this year. Zhai displayed several applications at the booth, including automotive parts and electrical housings. Many of these also showcased the potential of the company’s S600DL 3D printer, the SLS 3D printer that is TPM3D’s largest AM solution and the one that the company says has the largest build volume on the market.
