Top 1: Essentium launches new HSE 280i HT 3D 3D printer
This week, the American company Essentium presented its new HSE 280i HT 3D printing platform. This is the first industrial 3D printer to offer “complete” IDEX (independent dual extrusion system). Founded in 2013, Essentium generally offers industrial 3D printing solutions that break traditional manufacturing processes by bringing together product strength and production speed on a large scale with an uncompromising technical set of materials. In the following video, CEO Blake Teipel explains what makes the new HSE 280i HT 3D printer so special and how it differs from other machines on the market.
Top 2: EOS talks responsible manufacturing
EOS is the world’s leading technology provider for additive manufacturing solutions, ranging from 3D printers and materials to software. In this video EOS explains the importance of creating a balance between living well and putting too much strain on the planet’s resources. With an ever increasing population, pollution, waste and harmful use of resources, it is important now more than ever. These issues are perpetuated by wastefulness, inefficiency, and restrictiveness of traditional subtractive manufacturing methods. EOS seeks to ameliorate the situation through innovation and technology, specifically additive manufacturing, which the company labels as ‘responsible by design’.
