AI technologies are in almost all industries and are playing an increasingly important role in our lives. In the automotive sector in particular, artificial intelligence is driving progress, accelerating processes, improving safety and enabling the development of intelligent vehicles. Furthermore, the combination of AI with 3D printing technologies is particularly interesting, as this combination creates new possibilities through the production of highly complex vehicle components. The following project goes one step further, as it is an impressive example of what the car of the future could look like.
We are speaking about the “Robo-EV”, a futuristic 3D-printed micro-metal car produced by PIX Movin, Inc. The “Robo-EV” has an AI that serves as the driver’s personal assistant and can read the driver’s mood and tone of voice to provide emotional support. Few details are currently known about how this intelligence works, but according to the development team, the system uses a powerful language model to enable interaction between the AI and the driver.
Using the vehicle’s voice system, the artificial intelligence inquires about well-being and needs and offers tailored support. In addition, the model car can be flexibly configured, for example as a delivery or freight vehicle, and the team is convinced that the Robo-EV can be easily integrated into public transport in the future.
