The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team has chosen Roboze, an Italian-American company specializing in high-performance 3D printing, as its partner. Roboze is already a technical partner of Ducati Corse for the 2022 season, and this new collaboration confirms its position in the automotive industry. The partnership between the two companies will span the 2023, 2024, and 2025 seasons.
The automotive industry, especially the motorcycle sector, has been at the forefront of adopting additive manufacturing in recent years. This innovative technology has brought progress to the entire industry globally. MotoGP development and engineering teams are increasingly relying on 3D printing as a strategic process. The new partnership between the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team and Roboze, an Italian and American 3D printing company specializing in super polymers and composite materials for extreme applications, is a testament to this trend. The collaboration will last for three years, covering the 2023, 2024, and 2025 seasons.

“In Roboze we have found an advanced technological partner that we are sure will help us achieve great technical results,” says Michele Gadda, Engineering Manager of Yamaha Motor Racing. “Roboze ARGO 500 allows us to produce components in carbon and with materials resistant to very high temperatures. For our technical team, it was a real breakthrough. We have already tested and had very satisfactory results. Reducing weights and production time while ensuring that we meet testing schedules gives us a way to express all the ingenuity and inspiration of our engineers.”
