Hybrid manufacturing or the combination of additive manufacturing with another process, often subtractive manufacturing, has sharply risen in popularity in recent years. And it is no surprise why. With hybrid manufacturing, industrial users are able to get parts printed and post-processed all at once for both greater convenience and substantial time savings. The possibilities are endless! Plus, this year, it will be possible to learn about the benefits in person at RAPID + TCT 2025 with one of the leaders in this field: the Phillips Corporation. We sat down with the company to learn more about its solutions and what attendees can expect from it at RAPID + TCT. And if you haven’t already, register for the event for free HERE and enter the giveaway for a 3D printed golf club!

3DN: What is the Phillips Corporation showcasing at RAPID + TCT this year?

Phillips Corporation will be showcasing our Phillips Additive Hybrid Laser-Powder System, which integrates a 6kW Laserline head onto a Haas TM-2P, capable of printing metal powder and machining all-in-one. Furthermore, we will be highlighting our new partnership with InssTek, showcasing their MX-Lab DED printer, capable of easily blending metal powder materials to achieve functionally gradient alloys, ideal for materials research. We will also have sample parts and videos of our Phillips Additive Hybrid Wire Arc System in our booth #1410.
