When the industry talks about regions that are a hotspot for additive manufacturing, often we mention the USA, Western Europe and, of course, China and India. But there is another part of the world that has become one of the fastest adopters of 3D printing: the Middle East. And this is best exemplified by new shows in the area, including the Middle East Reverse Engineering & Additive Manufacturing Show (ReAM) which will be opening tomorrow.
As you can expect from the name, ReAM will be taking place in the Middle East, more specifically in Le Méridien Hotel & Conference Centre in Dubai, UAE. This is particularly fitting considering the ongoing commitment by local governance in Dubai and the wider UAE to implement additive manufacturing in different sectors including transportation and construction. The show will run from Tuesday, September 24th to 26th and is expected to bring together “global industry pioneers, thought leaders, and experts from diverse sectors” according to a press release from the show’s organizers.

Moreover, it is being supported by a number of major players in different fields. Notably, ReAM mentions “Dubai Municipality and buildingSMART UAE, along with our partners, sponsors and exhibitors including Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP), Incus GmBH, Promech, DMG Mori, Artistic Engineering and Dyze Design.” But what exactly can attendees look forward to at the show?
