Emerging from the San Marino startup Eccentrica Cars, the genesis of this innovation lies in the restoration of a classic car, namely the Diablo Eccentrica. This inaugural restomod project, drawing inspiration from the iconic Lamborghini Diablo of the 90s, is set to be produced in a limited run of up to 19 units. The grand unveiling of this creation at the esteemed Goodwood Festival of Speed has ignited fervor among both automotive enthusiasts and those captivated by 3D printing technology, granting them an exclusive preview. Elevating its allure, the Diablo Eccentrica’s incorporation of 3D printed titanium in its bodywork and components bestows upon it a sense of futurism and sophistication.
The Ambitious Lamborghini Diablo Project
The Lamborghini Diablo Eccentrica comes to life through the vision of Eccentrica Cars startup founder Emanuel Colombini, an entrepreneur, collector, and European Lamborghini Super Trofeo championship driver. Collaborating with the BorromeodeSilva design studio, this ambitious endeavor has garnered support from technical partners including Pirelli, Brembo, Alcantara, Capristo, and Marantz. The model draws inspiration from the Lamborghini Diablo GTR, a sentiment expressed by Colombini who recalled his childhood fascination with a red Diablo seen in Quattroruote magazine. He remarked that this lasting memory and his experience driving the GT version later on motivated him to pay homage to the iconic vehicle.

The body of the Diablo Eccentrica was 3D titanium printed.
The vehicle has undergone a comprehensive revamp, retaining only the windshield and roof from its original iteration. All other components, including bumpers, hoods, sides, and skirts, have been substituted, primarily with carbon fiber or titanium alternatives. Within the Diablo Eccentrica’s interior, a blend of the original car’s allure and contemporary vintage elements seamlessly coexist.
