As Formnext 2025 approaches, GLB is preparing to unveil its new GLB-400M, an industrial-grade metal 3D printer designed to make high-performance manufacturing more affordable and accessible. We spoke with the company’s founder to learn more about GLB’s journey, its mission to empower manufacturers worldwide, and what to expect from its latest innovations at this year’s show.

3DN: Can you introduce yourself and explain your connection to additive manufacturing?

My name is Wang Binhua. I am a veteran of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and hold an MBA from Tongji University. I currently serve as a deputy to the People’s Congress of Yancheng City in Jiangsu Province. Before founding GLB Digital Technology, I worked as a senior executive at a listed Chinese 3D printing company, where I contributed to the development of China’s first SLM metal 3D printing system.
