Exciting Big 3D Printers at Formnext 2024

Size does matter when it comes to 3D printing. Over the years, we have seen a strong and growing demand for large-format additive manufacturing solutions in order to create bigger parts for sectors like maritime, aerospace and transportation, among others. And never has that been more evident than at Formnext 2024! For that reason, we decided to take a look at some of the big, innovative 3D printers that we found at the show.

Starting with YIZUMI, we were impressed not only by the size of the robotic arm but also by the raised platform. Next, we learned more about Meltio’s latest solution, the Robot Cell, a metal additive manufacturing solution that boasts a working build volume of 1.2 m x 1.2 m. It also enables end-to-end production, making it great for places like machine shops.
