The world of top-of-the-range bicycles has welcomed an unprecedented touch of innovation and luxury with the launch of the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R. Much more than just a bicycle, it embodies the union of bespoke craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. The best part? It is also fully customizable and boasts 3D-printed parts. Moreover, the .1R frame took shape in the same workshops as Aston Martin’s iconic cars, with shapes fashioned by expert model makers using advanced computer programs to create three-dimensional designs.

Indeed, the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R is more than just a collector’s item; it’s for demanding cyclists looking for performance and comfort. Every element of this bike has been designed to provide a pleasant riding experience. The aim is to create a frame that combines lightness, rigidity and comfort to meet the highest expectations.

The Aston Martin .1R bike

To be more specific, the .1R frame is handcrafted from a combination of titanium lugs and carbon fiber tubing, using techniques inspired by the world of Formula 1 cars. The aerospace-grade 6AI/4V titanium dropouts, characterized by their strength-to-weight ratio, are produced via 3D printing with meticulous precision in 30-micron layers. The bike also features integrated brake calipers. Each caliper is fashioned from a high-strength aluminum block, incorporating four titanium pistons for great control and modulation.
