In the world of additive manufacturing, there is no shortage of 3D printing service providers. However, when you have no experience with 3D printing technologies you might find that the market is somewhat opaque, and choosing the right service to manufacture your parts can be difficult. The 3DEXPERIENCE Marketplace launched by Dassault Systèmes is an online ecosystem of industrial worldwide service providers that aims to respond to companies’ manufacturing needs. It is made up of 3 services: Make, Part Supply and Engineering.
The 3DEXPERIENCE Marketplace Make service, which connects buyers to providers, is currently made up of more than 200 providers around the world. They offer services in additive manufacturing but also complementary technologies such as CNC machining, injection molding, and laser cutting. Providers can produce prototypes or end-use parts in series production. Therefore, companies that wish to test designs for their projects but do not have any reason to invest in in-house equipment can work with a manufacturing service to have their parts made.
